Alice’s “Snot” Casserole

Serves 6-8


Ingredients

  • 8 oz jar of CheezWhiz (or replace with ½ cup milk, ½ tsp grass-fed gelatin, ¾ cup cheddar cheese, 1/8 teaspoon salt)

  • Grated parmesan cheese

  • Paprika 

  • 3-4 cups cooked rice 

  • 20 oz frozen chopped broccoli

  • ½ finely chopped onion

  • ½ cup chopped celery

  • 4 tablespoons butter

  • 1 can cream of chicken soup

  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup


  1. Preheat oven to 350ºF.

  2. Cook rice according to directions.

  3. Defrost and drain broccoli.

  4. Sauté chopped onion and celery in the butter until translucent, 3-5 minutes.

  5. Mix in cans of cream of chicken and cream of mushroom soup and cheese cream. 

  6. Pour everything into a casserole pan and sprinkle parmesan cheese on top. Top with the paprika and bake for 30 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
