Nicks Luxurious Homemade Carmel Sauce and Ice Cream
Ingredients
Splash of Water
Vanilla Ice Cream
1 Green Apple
½ Cup Walnuts
1 Cup White Sugar
6 Tablespoons Salted Butter
½ Cup Heavy Cream
1 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract
Add sugar and a splash of water in medium sauce pan.
Cook on medium heat. Constantly stir with a wooden spoon or heat resistant wooden spatula. The sugar will melt and water with evaporate.
Right as the sugar begins to turn brown, stir in the softened butter and vanilla extract. Continue to stir for another 2 minutes. Slowly add the cream with continuously stirring. Allow the mixture to boil for a minute. Remove from heat and allow the caramel to cool.
Give the walnuts a rough chop and cut the apple into bite-sized chunks.
Add the walnuts and apples to a healthy serving of vanilla ice cream and drizzle the caramel over it.
