Mary & Paul’s Chocolate Pizzelle


Ingredients

  • 2 eggs

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1 cup flour

  • 2 large squares of semisweet baking chocolate

  • ½ cup butter

  • ¾ cup sugar


  1. Whisk together sugar and butter. 

  2. Chop chocolate finely and melt in the microwave 30 seconds and add to sugar mixtures. 

  3. Add eggs in one at a time, then the vanilla extract.

  4. Add in flour a little at a time. Whisk all well.

  5. Add batter to pizzelle press as suggested by machine instructions.
