Girl Scout’s Kick the Can Ice Cream
Ingredients
1 cup whipping cream
1 teaspoon vanilla
Ice
Rock salt
1 pound coffee can
3 pound coffee can
¾ cup sugar
1 cup milk
1 egg
Measure all ingredients into the smaller coffee can and mix thoroughly until sugar is dissolved. Cover with lid and tape shut.
Put the smaller can into the middle of the larger can. Fill one third of the way up with ice. Sprinkle rock salt evenly over the ice. Keep layering salt and ice until can is full.
Cover with lid and tape shut. Once tightly secure, kick around the cans at least 15 minutes.
