Chocolate Crinkles


Ingredients

  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

  • 2 teaspoons baking powder

  • ½ teaspoon salt

  • 2 cups flour

  • 1 cup powdered sugar

  • ½ cup vegetable oil

  • 4 squares (4 oz) unsweetened baking chocolate, melted

  • 2 cups granulated sugar

  • 4 eggs


  1. Melt chocolate and mix with oil and sugar.

  2. Add eggs one at a time, then vanilla extract.

  3. Add in salt and baking powder, and then flour a little at a time.

  4. Chill for at least one hour. Drop by tablespoonfuls into the powdered sugar and shape into balls. Place on cookie sheets at least 2 inches a part.

  5. Bake 10-12 minutes at 350°F. Cool on a rack.
