Russian Tea Cake Cookies
Ingredients
2 ¼ cups flour
¼ teaspoon salt
¾ cup finely chopped walnuts
1 cup butter
½ cup powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Cream together butter, sugar, and vanilla extract.
Mix in salt, then flour, then nuts.
Add eggs one at a time, then vanilla extract.
Chill for one hour. Roll into 1-inch balls.
Bake 10-12 minutes at 400°F.
While still warm, roll in powdered sugar.
Cool and roll once more in powdered sugar.
