Tay To’s Chocolate Ball cookies with red and green frosting
Ingredients
Frosting:
2 cups powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 tablespoons milk
Red and green food coloring
Cookies:
1 ¼ cup butter
½ cup sugar
4 eggs
1 16-oz. can of Hershey’s syrup
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon baking soda
¼ teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon ground cloves
5 cups flour
Preheat oven to 400°F.
Cream together butter and sugar.
Add eggs one at a time, then vanilla extract and chocolate syrup.
Add in salt, baking soda, cinnamon, and cloves.
Then add flour a little at a time.
Shape into 1-inch balls on a lightly greased cookie sheet and cook 10 minutes.
Let cool before frosting.
Frosting:
Divide powdered sugar between two bowls.
Add milk a spoonful at a time to each until getting a runny consistency.
Color one red and one green and dip cookies in frosting.
